Charlotte White

Charlotte Renay Martin White, of Pulaski, passed away Friday, November 1st, 2019 at St. Thomas West Hospital in Nashville., Tn. She was born on February 12th, 1944 in Pulaski and was 75 years old. Renay was the previous owner of the Hickory House Restaurant in Pulaski where she gave graciously back to our community. She loved her family tremendously and loved her dog Ceasar. She loved watching Days of Our Lives, Jeopardy, The Price Is Right, RFD TV, and Grey's Anatomy. She loved to say "all you have to do is call" and she was ready to ride. Visitation will be 3:00 until 8:00 Monday, November 4th, 2019, at Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home and Crematory. The funeral service will be 12:00pm Tuesday, November 5th, 2019, in the chapel of Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home and crematory with Bro. Mark Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in Giles Memory Gardens. Memorial donations are suggested to the Giles County Animal Shelter, 380 Bennett Drive, Pulaski, Tn. She was preceded in death by her parents, Hoyt Edwin/Martin, Juanita Martin Worsham and Lester Worsham. Husband, Butch White and Grady Dean Journey. Great-grandchild Gunner McRae. She is survived by her; Daughter, Lisa Journey (Nicki Duncan) of Pulaski. Son, Phil (Rhonda) Journey of Pulaski. Son, Rodney (Katie) Journey of Pulaski. Son, Todd (Deanna) Journey of Alabama. Grandchildren, Derek (Jasmine) Journey, Mallory Journey, Harley (Witt) Jackson, Landon (Courtney) Journey, Hayden Journey, Allie Journey, Wyatt Journey, and Annie Hood. 6 Great Grandsons. Brothers, Ronnie (Charlotte) Martin of Pulaski and Brad Martin of Sevierville, TN Sister, Barbara (Glen) Byrd of Maryville, TN. Brother-in-law Jack White of Florence, AL. and a sister-in-law Cathy Ferguson of Pulaski. Several Special Nieces and Nephews also survive.
